to the point you can' t see through.

mold......... YUCK!!!

These yuck yuck offenders have been invading my cheaply built shower for quite some time.

Like...a long time

embarrassingly long.

let's just not think about that mmmmkay?

I've been meaning to use some harsh cleaner and good old elbow grease to shine it clean

but my gag reflex and fear of any toxic fume induced potential harm to growing baby

made me just lazy about it.

Until the other day I came across this brilliant non-toxic concoction online.

Am I in the dark ages for not trying this sooner?

People swore it worked on all those offenders mentioned.

So I gave it the old college try and guess what??

A.M.A.Z.I.N.G

It does have a strong- strong smell, but

It's mostly vinegar after all.

Is your shower gross? Try this. It works brilliantly on faucets, tubs, showers, laminate floors, you name it.

Shower/bathroom cleaner:

12 ounces white vinegar

3 ounces dawn (I used lemon scented)

directions: 1. Simmer vinegar in a pot, then add the dawn and wisk together

2. pour into spray bottle

3. get a bandanna and wrap around your head to cover your mouth and nose

4. Smile as your kids laugh at your costume.

5. Spray generously- and I mean generously all over the horrid shower scene

6. Let it sit ( I let it sit for 8 hours)

7. wet the area a bit, take a good handled scrub brush and scrub.

8. You really don't have to scrub hard because everything seriously just comes off.

9. Rinse and do a little victory dance.

10. Then buy some ice cream for yourself :)

We are very excited!

I'm 13 weeks along.

Everyone and their dog has predicted a girl.

This pregnancy has brought on more vomiting than I've ever experienced before.

It hasn't been easy, but...

Looking at this picture makes it all worth it.

Christmas day

Santa came!! I absolutely love Christmas (I know everyone says this but hey, I can't describe it any better) . This year was fun because Jax was really into it and was excited by all the gifts.

Jax had 3 things he asked for: legos, a space ship (imaginext brand which I love), and a build-a-car with a screwdriver thingy we ordered online...oh, I mean which the elves made in Santa's workshop.

He was thrilled to open each one quickly and was really happy with what he received.

Tyce on the other hand was such a funny little guy. He didn't really care it was Christmas and didn't show any excitement whatsoever. Once Jax opened the space ship toy, Tyce wandered over there and played with it, but had no interest in opening any of his own gifts. I'd say, "Tyce do you want to open your presents?" and he'd calmly say "No, don't want to. mommy can we have breakfast?" He sort of came around a few hours later but still just didn't grasp it this year. And that's okay- next year maybe.

Tyce ended up loving this Melissa and Doug fruit cutting toy.

Jax with no pants on- kinda how you'll see him 90% of the time in our home. I try to keep them on him, but he just likes the air on his legs I guess :)

Christmas Eve at Grammy's house

Every single Christmas Eve we head to Jared's folks for dinner and a celebration. It's fun- every single time. There are so many people and lots of noise and excitement.

The grandkids get new jammies from Grammy every single year. I love that.

Jax and Tyce received a combined gift from two Miner cousins and they loved what was underneath,

A very cool art easel. I've been wanting to get one of these for my boys to help increase their interest in drawing and so far this has been a toy they've played with most of all.
