God be with you till we meet again.
On December 20th we were on our way up to Salt Lake to see family for the Holidays.
We called Jared's parents when we were a couple hours away to say hello and at that very moment Jared's dad was in severe pain and on his way to the emergency room. Jared headed up there as quickly as he could. I followed behind a while later without the kids. I got to the hospital to find Jared and his entire family there wiping their tears and watching Bryant take his final breaths. He was surrounded by all his loved ones and although there was sadness there was also the spirit of our Heavenly Father that could be felt by all. It whispered the truths we've been taught that this life is not the end. We will see him again.
Bryant was a remarkable man. He influenced so many people throughout his life. He was charming and quirky and completely lovable. Jared and I will miss him. The boys will miss him. We know where he is and that brings up comfort and peace. It makes you stop to think about what's important in this life. When you see someone take their last breath, watch the color leave their face, watch as the spirit exits the body it is surreal. It is powerful. It makes me want to live with no regrets. It makes me want to seize every moment while I'm here. I want to love more, serve more, experience more, learn more. I want to be better. I want to leave this world someday knowing I did my very best and that each day I treated people with love and respect. I am grateful for this clarity. I am grateful for this amazing example. Work hard up in Heaven Bry! We love you
Someone is 6 months old today
This girl is seriously awesome. I'm so lucky she's mine!!!
Jovi is easy going and always smiling.
She started sleeping 12 hours at night when she was 7 weeks old.
That lasted until she was 5 months.
So for 3 months I thought I had it made- sleeping like a rock!
Then she got RSV...
and decided to wake up sad and wanting a snack every two hours at night.
Once she got over her sickness she decided the all-night mommy buffet needed to continue.
And now I feel like a mother of a newborn again.
Growth spurt? Teething? Spoiled?
Not sure but she's definitely NOT sleeping through the night anymore.
But she is a delight.
She adores watching her brothers wrestle and they adore her as well.
You are SO loved little Jovi girl.
Happy half birthday!
